Majete Wildlife ReserveThe Majete Wildlife Reserve is a pristine park (just 700 km2) in southern Malawi, bordered on its eastern side by the Shire River, cascading over rocks as it passes through the reserve. The reserve has been stocked with game in recent years, and now has good populations of most game including elephant, leopard, and black rhino, which are often sighted. Lion join the reserve this year (2012).
