Description
Designed in the style of a Moroccan kasbah, the Four Seasons Resort’s architecture and style is in keeping with the surrounding desertscape. The Sinai Peninsula's rugged and dramatic terrain, along with miles of gorgeous beaches and coral reefs give this area enormous diversity. The Four Seasons is located at the tip of the peninsula and from here guests can explore the teeming marine life and abundant birdlife of the Ras Mohammed National Park which covers both land and water.
The hotel's luxurious Rooms and Suites are clustered like a hillside village perched above the Red Sea and are impeccably decorated, using rich fabrics and opulent colours. All rooms have comfy open plan seating areas and private terraces or balconies, many with views out over the magical Red Sea. Suites have the addition of a separate sitting room and can have up to three bedrooms for larger parties, some even have private swimming pools.
The service at Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh is warm and efficient and the numerous restaurants and bars offer a wide choice of venues, atmospheres and cuisines with everything from Lebanese specialities in a palatial Arabic restaurant to fresh seafood at the beach and poolside snacks. The in-room dining is also excellent for lazy suppers on your private terrace.
Families are extremely well catered for and children can enjoy the numerous activities available at the kids club and in the teen centre. There is a dedicated pool and playground, children's menus and even mini bathrobes are supplied for the hotel's younger generation. Activities that families can enjoy together are also numerous and a dedicated concierge is on hand to make restaurant and activity suggestions or book babysitting should you need it.
While children are busily making new friends and learning the art of kite making or beach games, parents can enjoy the hotel's renowned Spa and Wellness Centre which offers many holistic treatments designed to pamper, relax and rejuvenate as well as meditation and yoga. Try the 'Pharaonic massage' once reserved for Egyptian royalty or the 'Arabian Coffee Ritual' where the body is scrubbed with freshly ground coffee.
The diving and snorkelling here is some of the best known anywhere in the world. Both adults and children can have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking beauty of the underwater world of the Red Sea and numerous dive sites of varying difficulties are available to guests depending on their experience. PADI dive courses are available to all and children over 8 can enjoy a PADI bubblemakers programme.

When to travel
The hotel is open all year, but summer (June to August) can get very hot, with temperatures soaring into the 40s. However, this is also low season, when prices drop. Best to avoid Ramadan, when some businesses will close for the whole month. Islamic festivals Eid al-Adha and Ras as-Sana are extremely busy as Egyptians are all on holiday. The dates for these holidays change every year, so check before planning your trip. March to April and October to November are great times to visit.
