Description

Set on its own private white sand beach twenty minutes south of Hurghada, The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh sits in 48 acres of gardens rich with natural beauty and looks out across the sparkling azure waters of the Red Sea. This all-suite luxury resort is designed to reflect the architecture of the region, and domes, arches and columns pervade at the Oberoi's peaceful sanctuary.

The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh's 102 detached suites have been opulently decorated with Egyptian, Indian and Moroccan influences epitomising the ultimate in style, sophistication and luxury. All the spacious suites have private walled gardens, sunken bathtubs and all of the Royal and Grand Suites come with private swimming pools.

Amongst the arches, domes and columns are three superb restaurants serving light lunches, exquisite modern Indian cuisine and Middle Eastern, Continental and Oriental specialities. Dine alfresco overlooking the resort's pool or enjoy a cocktail at the bar as the sun goes down.

The hotel's spa specialises in treatments that draw on Western and Oriental techniques and there is an endless choice of massages, scrubs, Ayurvedic therapies, facials and more for both men and women. There is also a stunning infinity swimming pool with beautiful views out to the ocean, a well equipped gym, two clay tennis courts and a dive and water sports centre.

For families, the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh is experienced at ensuring that both parents and children have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. There is a children's activity centre as well as slides and indoor and outdoor games available and plenty of the rooms interconnect. The hotel can provide babysitting for when parents want to have a relaxing evening dining at one of the hotel's restaurants.

If guests need a break from the beach, diving, spa, gym, courts and pool, it is a 25 minute transfer to the town of Hurghada where the hustle and bustle of the shops and lively nightlife will provide a contrast to the serenity found at the tranquil and exclusive Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh.

Accommodation

All 63 Deluxe and 21 Superior Deluxe Suites are spacious and elegantly appointed with open plan seating areas, sunken marble baths overlooking private open-air walled gardens and private terraces ideal for al fresco dining. The Deluxe Suites are set within the gardens and the Superior Deluxe Suites are nearer the shoreline with easy access to the beach. The 12 larger Grand Suites have similar layouts but have the addition of their own private pools which are heated in the winter. The 6 Royal Suites are the ultimate in luxury. They have their own living/dining room, pantry, lush courtyard with swimming pool and raised outdoor dining pavilion.

Childcare

Families are very welcome at The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh and children are well catered for in every aspect of their stay.
