Between the swimming pool and the restaurant, is the bar & cocktail lounge, there is also a Beach Bar (Open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm). Twice a week live entertainment is laid on for the guests.

Activities

There are plenty of things to do from L'Archipel and around the island of Praslin. At the reception desk guests can rent a car or a bicycle, or simply, use the bus to discover Praslin. Just a short drive away is the prehistoric vegetation of 'Vallée de Mai' National Park where you can discover The Coco de Mer, with its distinctive and unusually shaped nut - there are various nature trails in the park and around the island. Diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, and fishing are possible both from Grand Anse and Anse Volbert. The staff will happily arrange sailing and snorkelling trips or excursions to nearby islands. Other sporting activities and excursions are organised by the hotel at an extra charge. These include: scuba diving, deep sea fishing and bottom fishing, and fly fishing with a professional guide.

When to travel

Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.

There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.
