Description
Desroches Island Resort's suites and villas are stylishly designed with a cool, tropical feel. Fresh seafood and local produce from the island are served Creole style in the hotel’s two restaurants, including one where guests can enjoy a ‘feet in the sand’ lunch or a beach barbecue. Enjoy a massage treatment at the spa centre, on the beach under the palm trees or in the comfort of your own accommodation. An exciting new spa has just opened on the island.
Guests can explore the island on foot or by bike – the coconut grove, the northern lighthouse and the island village are waiting to be discovered, as are the many secret tracks that lead to secluded beaches. The resident conservation team offer guided informative nature walks around the island where guests can learn about the flora and fauna on the island.

When to travel
Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.
There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.
