Description
This stunning resort has tree-top inspired villas cleverly positioned to make the most of their elevated settings on a lush hillside overlooking the island’s south west shores. Inside they consist of sitting areas, opulent Four Seasons-styled bathrooms and between one and six bedrooms, whilst outside there’s an expansive deck with dining areas, day beds and infinity-edge pools offering wonderful sunset views of the bay. The resort is a hideaway of romantic simplicity and of course, offers the legendary Four Seasons service and attention to detail.
The Seychelles form an archipelago of 115 islands, scattered across the Indian Ocean. First settled by the French in 1770, the islands still feel undiscovered and only about 20 are inhabited. The Seychelles have no indigenous population and today they display a vibrant ethnic diversity – with the largest groups being of French, African, Indian and Chinese descent. A strong French Creole influence is evident in culture, custom and cuisine.
The Four Seasons Resort has all the fun of water sports on offer together with a range or cultural excursions including a visit to the vibrant and bustling Victoria Market, where you will see everything from local crafts made from coconut to silk paintings and handmade jewellery. Fishermen bring their catch to the fish market, and stalls sell fragrant spices, citronella tea and local delicacies.
Children will be in safe hands at the ’Kids for All Seasons’ club open all day for children aged 4 - 12 years old, whilst grown-ups can simply relax at the hilltop spa, indulge in some watersports, explore the jungle or take a boat trip to the largest population of giant tortoises outside the Galapagos.
At Four Seasons, guests enjoy a unique vantage point from which to explore the sights, sounds and experiences that are typical of the Seychelles.

When to travel
Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.
There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.
