Description
Breezes Beach Club is a friendly, relaxed and comfortable hotel, set on one of Zanzibar's best beaches. The beach, though tidal, is a fantastic stretch of white sand where you can walk for miles.
The hotel is designed and furnished in a typical Zanzibari style, with plenty of local colour and flare. The 60 air-conditioned rooms and suites are all set in the beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the beach.
The rooms are cleverly positioned into separate cottages; each cottage consisting of four Deluxe Rooms on the ground floor and two Suites above. In this way, there is not one large block of rooms and the hotel feels smaller and more intimate.
There are two restaurants and the cuisine features local spices and delicacies from the Indian Ocean. You can book to have a romantic dinner on the beach under the stars.
Guests looking for total relaxation of the mind and body can enjoy the Frangipani Spa which provides a blissful and tranquil setting as well as a wide range of treatments.
For those looking to be more active, there is a great watersports centre where you can organise boat trips, snorkelling, diving, deep sea fishing, dolphin trips, sailing and much more! There is also a small gym and two tennis courts.
Breezes is excellent value for money and children are welcome.

There are three categories of room: standard rooms, located further away from the sea with a terrace and garden view and deluxe rooms located on ground floor of bungalows with a terrace.
And the third category is a suite which are located on the upper floor of bungalows with large balcony and sun beds. The Suites have a walk in dressing room and larger bathroom with large terrace, private sunbathing area, and a covered outdoor lounge area.

There are no specific facilities available for children however children of all ages are very welcome to come and stay at Breezes Beach Club and Spa.

At the club you can enjoy the swimming pool, spa, gym, tennis court and Beach volley ball. The hotel can also organise other activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, snorkelling, reef walks, dinghy sailing, windsurfing and spa sessions. There is therefore something for everyone, whether you are feeling adventurous or sporty or just want to take some time out.
When to travel
Situated only 6° south of the equator, Zanzibar enjoys ideal holiday weather. Temperatures average between 24°C and 27°C throughout the year with 7-9 hours of sunshine per day.
There are 2 rainy seasons: Acute, brief showers, lasting about an hour in the morning occur for a couple of weeks during November. The rains last slightly longer in April and May, but even then it does not rain every day. These rains replenish the Island and are often referred to as the “Green Season”.

Breezes Beach Club is located on Bwejuu Beach, on the South East of Zanzibar Island next to its sister hotels, Baraza and Palms. The Island is located about 25 miles from the Tanzanian coast.
How to get there
The easiest and most direct way to reach Zanzibar is to fly via Dar es Salaam, on Tanzania's coast (9-hour 30-minute international flight). The connecting flight from Dar es Salaam to Stone Town Airport on Zanzibar takes 20 minutes. Breezes Bach Club is a 1-hour drive from Stone Town.
