Description

Everyone at Scott Dunn is shocked and saddened by the recent tragic events at Kiwayu Safari Village and our thoughts are with the family and staff.

The lodge is currently closed and will be until further notice.

Mr and Mrs Tebutt were not travelling with Scott Dunn, however as Kiwayu Safari Village is one of our properties, we are following the situation closely. Foreign & Commonwealth Office travel advice to Kenya has not changed and other parts of the Kenya are not considered at risk. Should the situation change, we will advise all Scott Dunn guests travelling to the region.

Guide price £3,419 per person

£3,419 per person for 7 nights based on 2 people sharing a cottage on a full board basis including flights from London and transfers.

When to travel

The rainy season on the Kenyan Coast is generally May/June. So from July onward the weather is gradually getting hotter and dryer until March/April when it reaches the high 90's (over40 degrees C). Christmas/New Year is generally considered the peak season and the weather is lovely then with constant sunshine and gentle off shore breezes. If you want clear seas for diving then make your trip after August/Sept.
