Owned and run by an Italian family, they are passionate about food and it is absolutely superb. Fresh fish is caught and delivered to the villa daily; the varying array of delicious dishes is exhilarating!
Everything is included at Alfajiri, not only all the amazing food and wide selection of wines and spirits, but also daily massages, boat trips, snorkelling excursions, picnic trips to nearby islands, golf, yoga, and there is a car at your disposal to explore the area and plenty more!
For those with children a babysitter can be on hand to help look after the children.

8 guests can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms all en-suite, dining room, kitchen, lounge and a large veranda over looking the Indian Ocean. All rooms are air conditioned with mosquito nets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. (2 double rooms + 1 twin room + 1 triple) .

Families with children of any age are welcomed at Alfijiri Cliff Villa and nannies can be arranged to assist with child care.
Facilities
Guests at Alfajiri Cliff Villa have exclusive use of the villa and the pool. No other guest, belonging to another group, will be booked at the same time.
Activities
From the Villa you can enjoy some snorkelling in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. You can arrange to play tennis, squash or golf and also book a relaxing massage or reflexology. It is also possible to arrange scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kite-surfing, jet skiing and dhow excursions to Kisite Marine Park.

When to travel
The rainy season in Lamu is generally May/June. So from July onward the weather is gradually getting hotter and dryer until March/April when it reaches the high 90's (over40 degrees C). Christmas/New Year is generally considered the peak season and the weather is lovely then with constant sunshine and gentle off shore breezes. If you want clear seas for diving then make your trip after August/Sept.

How to get there
One hour from Mombasa Airport with 10 daily scheduled services from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta (8.5 hour flight from London). Direct flights from England in to Mombasa are also available (9 hour flight). Five minutes from Ukunda Airstrip, for private charters and a daily service to & from the Maasai Mara and Samburu National park and Nairobi Wilson airport.
