The four bedrooms are all well sized, two have air conditioning and two have fans. There is a lovely lounge area with comfy sofa's and plenty of games overlooking the gorgeous private pool and sea beyond.
The chef can indulge your every taste with sumptuous meals prepared from fresh local produce and the finest ingredients flown in from Europe.
Diani Beach is considered one of the best in Kenya and it is possible to walk 5 miles to the north and 5 miles to the south.

Accommodation
The Beach Villa has 4 double bedrooms with their own bathroom. The 2 rooms on the ground floor are air-conditioned with split-level units and mosquito nets. The other 2 rooms have no air condition but have fan and mosquito net. All rooms have different interior decoration; the furniture and artefacts have been collected in different countries around the world.
Childcare
The Beach villa has two ayahs (nannies), who both speak English and are available
24 hours a day. There are plenty of games available as well as a TV and video if needed.
Alfajiri is the perfect place for families with small children that are looking for a relaxing time and to have their children well looked after, all in absolute privacy.
Facilities
The villa has a private swimming pool and there is also a massage banda for a relaxing or re-jeuvenating massage.
Activities
From the Villa you can enjoy snorkelling in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. You can arrange to play tennis, squash or golf and also book a relaxing massage or reflexology. It is also possible to arrange scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kite-surfing, jet skiing and dhow excursions to Kisite Marine Park.

When to travel
The rainy season in Lamu is generally May/June. So from July onward the weather is gradually getting hotter and dryer until March/April when it reaches the high 90's (over40 degrees C). Christmas/New Year is generally considered the peak season and the weather is lovely then with constant sunshine and gentle off shore breezes. If you want clear seas for diving then make your trip after August/Sept.

How to get there
One hour from Mombasa Airport with 10 daily scheduled services from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta (8.5 hour flight from London). Direct flights from England in to Mombasa are also available (9 hour flight). Five minutes from Ukunda Airstrip, for private charters and a daily service to & from the Maasai Mara and Samburu National park and Nairobi Wilson airport.
