Nicoya Peninsula

The Nicoya Peninsula is one of Costa Rica’s most secluded gems and is located to the north west of the country. Rugged mountains give way to the stunning blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and some of the most magnificent and wild beaches. The peninsula has been heralded for its wonderful nature reserves, charming hotels and beach resorts, quaint rural towns, picturesque fishing villages, amazing sunsets, and some of Central America’s best surf. Other activities include scuba diving, sport fishing, sea kayaking and boating. The peninsula is also home to a variety of eco-systems and flora and fauna including monkeys, sloths, marine turtles, parrots, and countless species of birds, iguanas, dolphins, marlin and manta rays.
