Easter Island

Easter Island, located 3000 miles from mainland Chile in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is a place of magnetism and mystery and is home to a culture whose origins are still unknown. Legend surrounds this remote volcanic island, dotted with hundreds of gigantic Moai stone statues, a fascinating legacy of an ancient and complex culture. The inhabitants, isolated from the rest of the world, developed their own culture and religion, which is fascinating to explore. The Rapanui are some of the friendliest people one will ever meet and the landscape is truly incredible – volcanic craters, lava formations, beaches and brilliant blue water, and archaeological sits all add to the uniqueness of this island.
