Iguassu

The Iguassu Falls, meaning “great waters”, is one of South America’s spectacular natural wonders located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Stroll along the walkways and marvel at the power and splendour of this vast waterfall, twice the size of Niagara, where hundreds of thundering cascades give rise to a mist, which hovers above the tropical rainforest. An exhilarating boat ride can be taken to the base of the falls, where you are sure to get quite wet! Iguassu’s dense emerald backdrop is also home to a fascinating variety of flora and fauna, including orchids, toucans and many species of butterfly. Optional tours can be arranged to visit the Argentinean side of the falls or the Itaipu hydroelectric project on the Paraguayan side.
