Northeastern Argentina

The Iguazu Falls, is one of South America’s most spectacular natural attractions, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Stroll along the walkways and marvel at the power and splendour of this vast waterfall, twice the size of Niagara, where hundreds of thundering cascades give rise to a mist that hovers above the tropical rainforest. An exhilarating boat ride can be taken to the base of the falls, where you are sure to get quite wet! The dense emerald backdrop of Iguassu is home to a fascinating variety of flora and fauna, including orchids, toucans and many species of butterfly. Venture further afield to the fascinating Ibera wetlands, Argentina’s own version of the Pantanal. Travel by boat and jeep to spot howler monkeys and caimans, or sip mate tea with some of the most authentic gauchos in Argentina.
