Kruger to the Cape in Style - South Africa
The very best of South Africa’s scenery, wildlife, lodges and food, from the urban chic of Cape Town to the adventure of Sabi Sands.
This journey begins with a fly-in safari at one of our favourite luxury retreats. The Sabi Sands game reserve forms part of the Kruger National Park eco-system and is famous for its multitude of game, particularly leopard and rhino.
You then fly on to the Cape where you will pick up a self-drive car for the remainder of your holiday. Perched between the ocean and Table Mountain and with a South African National Park at its heart, Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city steeped in history and cultural diversity. The beautiful summer climate, Cape-Dutch architecture, wild coastline and outstanding restaurants make it one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
The historic village of Franschhoek lies in a picture-book valley deep in the heart of the Cape wine country. Flanked by towering blue mountains and rolling green vineyards, it is famed for its natural beauty and acknowledged as the culinary capital of South Africa.
Hermanus is characterised by sweeping unspoilt beaches, a dramatic rocky peninsula, intriguing lagoons and estuaries and towering indigenous forests. With its beautiful ocean views, this is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area, or just soaking up the laid-back atmosphere.
