Head for the wide, open spaces of East Africa for a rejuvenating week in the bush, experiencing the varied landscapes of Laikipia and the Maasai Mara.

On arrival in Nairobi you fly straight onward to Laikipia for a stay at Loisaba. The lodge is set on a high plateau with impressive views of distant mountain ranges. Activities are in no short supply and include horse riding, fishing, canoeing, mountain biking and guided camel walks. While you are there, why not treat yourself to the ultimate night sky experience in one of Loisaba’s unique star beds in the heart of the bush overlooking a moonlit waterhole.

After three nights in Laikipia, fly south to the world-famous Maasai Mara for a taste of classic ‘Out of Africa’ safari style at Cottar’s 1920s Camp. The tented camp is full of opulent touches including four-poster beds, zebra-skin rugs and antique wooden chests. Daily game drives take you into the Mara and, as the concession is outside the park, guided walking and night drives are also highly recommended. Complimentary massages make your luxurious stay complete.

On your last day you fly back to Nairobi where a day room will be booked for you at House of Waine before your overnight flight back to London.
