Goa

The former Portuguese colony of Goa is one of the most relaxing places in India. Goa became famous in the 60s when the hippies came to experience its pleasant beaches and witness its magical sunsets and welcoming communities. There are a number of pleasant beaches throughout Goa, the less developed being in South Goa. A day spent discovering Goa’s colonial past is always worth a day away from the beach.
