Childcare
At Scott Dunn we know how important your children are, and we know that they must enjoy their holiday as much as you do yours. It is because of this that we offer our own private nanny service from 9am til 5pm, six days a week to chalet and hotel guests in Courchevel 1850, Meribel, Val d’Isere, Zermatt and St Anton.
You know that your children are in safe hands, all of our nannies are qualified and recruited for their mature but fun approach to childcare. They must also undergo pre-season Scott Dunn childcare training, which includes a comprehensive and certified first aid course.
Fun is essential, that is why we provide an excellent selection of toys, books and more, these are incorporated into an organised, fun packed week for the children in our care, which includes no less than two creative activities a day, with a balance of indoor and outdoor activities.
We also offer:
- Children have a personal driver service to their ski lessons to save their little legs in heavy ski boots.
- We have a dedicated Childcare Manager in London who recruits and trains all our nannies and is there to talk to parents about the childcare needs.
- We can organise pre-ordering of nappies and wipes to ease your load when travelling!
- Scott Dunn nannies prepare a hot and healthy nutritious lunch everyday for the children in their care.
The Scott Dunn Children’s Club Val d’Isere
We are delighted to announce a brand new and exciting addition to our childcare programme in time for next season. Conveniently located in the centre of Val d’Isere, the Scott Dunn children’s club caters for children from four months through to thirteen year olds and is staffed by qualified Scott Dunn nannies.
The club has been designed to a specific Scott Dunn brief, adhering to French laws to ensure that children will be properly cared for in a safe environment. The club will be open from Monday to Saturday between 09.00 to 17.00 hrs and is equipped with children’s washing facilities and WCs, a kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer, quiet area with games consoles, a DVD player and bean bags, together with sleep rooms and a changing room.
This new facility will enable us to provide an even higher level of care for your children with improved facilities and a greater range of toys and equipment. Our qualified nannies will plan suitable daily activities for your children who will be organised into the following groups:
Snowflakes 4 months – 2 years
Eskimos 3 – 5 years
Huskies 6 - 8 years
Sabres 9 – 13 years
