Monaco / Monte Carlo

Situated just 20km from Nice Airport, Monaco is right on the Mediterranean Sea, tucked in between the French and Italian Rivieras and just in front of the Alpes Maritimes. The principality of Monaco is just a tiny 0.76 square miles in size and is ruled by the Constitutional monarchy led by H.S.H. Prince Albert II. Monte Carlo, a district of the principality, is the home the infamous Formula One Grand Prix, and another of the main attraction is the Grand Casino. Glamorous visitors amble through the streets, filling the designer boutiques and sampling the outstanding cuisine. The beautiful surrounding areas make Monaco an excellent base to visit the French medieval villages, the chic shopping boulevards and beaches of Cannes or the perfume factories of Grasse. Why not head East for the day into Italy and visit the markets of San Remo.
