Chalet hosts
We receive a large number of letters each winter from guests praising their chalet hosts. Your host is there to help with any requests that you may have throughout the week, and to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Chefs
As well as being great cooks they also have to show themselves to be friendly, resourceful and adaptable. We have a well-established training programme so that they can benefit from the knowledge we have gained over 20 years of successfully running chalets.
Resort managers
Resort managers play a vital role in ensuring that our holidays live up to the high standards that we set ourselves. We ensure that they have a full understanding of the Scott Dunn philosophy and complete support from the London office. They will collect you from the airport, buy your ski pass on your behalf and deliver it to you, and visit you at your chalet or hotel every day. They will also offer you help in many other ways such as organising reservations or arranging additional babysitting. You will find them approachable and attentive to all your needs.
Nannies
One of the reasons Scott Dunn Ski is so appealing to families is that we offer a private nanny service. All our nannies have been chosen because of their professionalism and recognised childcare qualifications. They are confident and outgoing and many of our nannies continue to work throughout the year for Scott Dunn in the Mediterranean. Drivers
We have a Scott Dunn driver service in each resort (except Zermatt). The service runs from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, and is booked in 15 minute slots. Drivers are always at the end of the phone and on hand to take you to the slopes, collect you, or run you into town for a drink before dinner. In Val d’Isère, this service is limited for guests staying at Eagle’s Nest, Nepenthe, Big and Little Yeti.
Beauty therapists
Nothing beats an expert massage to ease away the aches and pains of a long and tiring day on the mountain. We have highly trained beauty therapists in all our resorts. As well as different types of massage, they offer a wide range of treatments including facials, manicures and pedicures. Importantly, you don’t go to them - they come to you. Treatments take place in your chalet at a time that is convenient for you.
