Wellington and the Wairarapa

Wellington, New Zealand’s picturesque capital city, is set on the edge of a stunning harbour and surrounded by rolling hills. Wellington prides itself in its cultural and artistic heritage and is home to much of the booming New Zealand film industry. Given the relatively small population, there is an astounding number of quality restaurants, bars, galleries, shops and theatres here as well as a fantastic cosmopolitan cafe culture. Situated over the Rimutaka Ranges, just a short helicopter or scenic drive away, the Wairarapa is a fertile valley that is famous for its beautiful views, world-class vineyards and excellent produce.
