Ballooning Bliss at Grumeti River Camp
Grumeti River Camp is now thrilled to be able to offer ballooning safaris. The launch site is just a 15-minute game drive from the camp and balloon safaris take off at dawn, when the winds are at their calmest, so that you rise with the sun to float gracefully over the plains. Hover at treetop level and marvel at the wildlife just beneath you, then ascend to 1000 feet or more to gain an appreciation of the sheer enormity of the endless Serengeti plains. Flights last for one hour and are dependent on weather conditions. On landing, in a beautiful clearing, celebrate with a glass of sparkling wine and a full English breakfast in the bush.

Mozambique
Following months of rebuilding work after Cyclone Favio hit the coast of southern Mozambique in February 2007, the Bazaruto Archipelago is now back in business! Benguerra Island Lodge and Marlin Lodge (on Benguerra Island) and Dugong Lodge (on the San Sebastian Peninsula) have undergone extensive refurbishment and upgrading and are now welcoming visitors once more. The dedication and commitment of the local staff and managers were highly evident on Scott Dunn’s recent visit and guests can be assured a warm welcome and a holiday to remember on glorious white sand beaches and turquoise waters.Mozambique>>
