Botswana is home to some of Africa’s true great wildernesses, a roadless expanse of savannahs, deserts, wetlands and salt pans stretching from the stunning empty vastness of the Kalahari, home of the now famous Bushmen, to the waterways of the Okavango Delta, which support a huge diversity of game. This is the culmination of Africa’s third largest river, which, contrary to the laws of nature, flows inland from Angola and never reaches the sea. To the east, Chobe National Park hosts some of the largest concentrations of game, with herds of elephant sometimes 500 strong. in addition to these phenomenal natural resources, these hugely varied landscapes change with the seasons meaning that, in Botswana, every safari is unique.Refine results
