The Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski Tanzania features 110 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites all featuring private terraces or balconies with views over landscaped gardens towards the ocean.
The main area of the hotel offers a total of 10 accommodation clusters each with 6 Garden Rooms, 4 Terrace Rooms and 1 Zamani Suite. All rooms and suites are decrated in contemporary style with attention to comfort, privacy and relaxation. Bathrooms are large with separate shower and a free standing bathtub as well as a glorious outside shower with sky views.
Guests can choose to have dinner in either the main restaurant, which serves a buffet each evening, or in the Red Snapper a la carte restaurant specialising in seafood. In addition to the bar in the main area, there is also a large jetty bar, set in the ocean on wooden stilts.
As well as a large outdoor pool and superbly equipped gym and spa, the Zamani has its own private beach club, situated 1km from the hotel. This can be reached by regular shuttle bus, on foot along the beach or by mountain bike (these are freely available for guests’ use). The club has a small restaurant and bar as well as a range of watersports equipment and hosts an evening beach party on a regular basis.
