Quinta da Maranhao

Quinta Maranhao is an excellent family villa, that sleeps 8. It is located just 1 km from the beach and 5km from Lagos which makes it ideal for those that want easy acess to both the beach and facilities of a town.

Quinta Maranhao stands on a hilltop behind Meia Praia beach, with stunning views over the coastline of the Western Algarve. This family home is comfortably furnished throughout. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has its own small terrace and ensuite bathroom. There is no door separating this room from the staircase. The downstairs bedrooms were refurbished last winter and the result is an light, bright area. There is a another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom facilities on this level. It is a clean and fresh room and open plan with a wall partition behind the bed and a bath on the other side. It does have a seperate room with the shower and toilet in it. Also on the ground floor there are 2 other twin bedrooms, really only suitable for children as the beds are very small. 1 has a seperate shower room and the other has an ensuite bathroom.

The focal point of the house is the large sitting room with pool table and an alcove off it, which is used as a TV area. From here French windows lead to the covered outside dining area and the pool. At the side of the house there is a large lawn with a football goal making an ideal children’s play area away from the pool. Next to the pool area, however is another smaller piece of lawn and the pool house, which is used as the children’s playroom.

• Getting there 3hr international flight from London to Faro, 1hr by road from airport to villa.
• Children Children welcome, nanny at villa, cots, high chairs and car seats provided (upon request). Nappies and wipes can be pre purchased. NB the pool is very close to the house and terrace.
