The Residence is set in a beautiful position on the north east coast of Mauritius. The hotel is characterised by a relaxed and colonial feel with muted natural tones and swaying palms. There are 163 elegant rooms and suites, some just a few steps away from the kilometre-long beach of powdery white sand. The three restaurants, which include the romantic waterfront Plantation, serve imaginative Creole and international cuisine. Activities include a variety of water sports, fishing and diving, as well as a golf course and riding, which can be arranged nearby. Alternatively guests can choose from a tempting range of treatments at the Sanctuary Spa. Children from 3 to 12 years have complimentary access to the Planters Children’s Club from 0930 hrs to 2200 hrs and there is also babysitting available.
