Selous Safari Camp is situated on the northern banks of the Rufiji river and has been designed to blend in with the spectacular natural scenery. This 13 tent classic camp enjoys a prime position at the centre of a unique riverine and lake complex.

The Selous is the largest protected reserve in Africa, three times larger than the Serengeti and with one of the highest concentrations of wildlife. All 13 spacious luxury tents at Selous Safari Camp are raised on wooden platforms under palm canopies, with side and front verandahs to maximize the views. The central dining area is elevated on tall platforms, while the lounge is set in a grove of trees with large comfortable sofas and a wildlife reference library. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in 4x4 vehicles and guided bush walks. Alternatively, one of the highlights of a stay at Selous Safari Camp is to explore the Rufiji River and its many tributaries, channels and lagoons by boat, with the occasional stop for a spot of fishing. The camp has its own swimming pool, enabling guests to cool off during the heat of the day.
