The Dolomites are situated in the southern Alps in the north of Italy. The ski domain is known as the Dolomiti Superski and consists of 460 lifts and 760 miles of ski runs during the winter months. During the summer, the Dolomites turn from white to green and 10 chairlifts remain open take walkers up the mountain.
