The River Club
Situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River and upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, the River Club is an elegant 10-room lodge where guests can soak up the sights and sounds of the river.
The River Club is situated right on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. The lodge has a distinct Edwardian feel and comprises just 10 split-level thatched cottages equipped with ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. The luxurious rooms are all completely open-fronted, giving guests the best possible views of the Zambezi. The colonial style main building houses the dining room, and the drawing room has a fascinating library, which focuses on the history of southern Africa. There is also a wonderful infinity-edge swimming pool, with spectacular views over the Zambezi, where one can regularly spot elephant and hippo on the river bank. Guests can spend the days relaxing at the lodge or enjoying the numerous activities on offer, including guided tours of the Falls, white water rafting and microlight flights.
