Moliets

Moliets is a brilliant holiday for those that love an outdoors, active style and healthy holiday taking advantage of all the extra facilities available in a resort environment but do not require 5* accommodation.

We have selected 9 different sized chalets within two of the villa complexes at Moliets, a holiday resort on the beautiful Aquitaine coast. All the chalets are light and airy due to the open plan design and they have been furnished almost identically in a simple yet stylish way. They each have their own garden and pool, although it is worth noting that the gardens of the three-bedroom chalets are not as private as the 5 bedroom house. The chalets are in a great position to take advantage of all the various outdoor activities available at Moliets along with good accessibility to shops, bars and restaurants.

Due to the numerous activities on offer, Moliets is a fantastic location for a Scott Dunn OurSpace children’s club. The children’s club here is the most established throughout all our programmes. It is located within its own villa and has a fenced pool and garden. We can provide childcare for children aged 4-8mths with a baby specialist, 8mths - 13yrs within the Club. Given the large amount of sport orientated activities available at Moliets, it is a great option for older members of the club (9-13 years). Our activity specialists on bikes will pick this age group up every morning, then cycle on to their first activity of the day. For younger members of the club, we offer a pick up and drop off service to the club with the exception of the first morning.

Amongst the many activites available at Moliets, there is and 18 and 9 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones which is used by the PGA qualifying tour. The sandy beach is ideal for surfers and bodyboarders. Getting about within Moliets is extremely popular by bike, utilising the numerous bike trails around the resort.

With lots to do on your doorstep, and your children safely ensconced in the OurSpace children’s club, you can be active or simply relax in the privacy of your villa.

• Staff Chef 5.5 days per week (lives out) - in the 3 bedroom villas the chef also provides the housekeeping service. In the 5 bedroom villa the housekeeping is done by the host.
• Accommodation The chalets range in size from 3 - 5 bedrooms. All villas have an open plan sitting/kitchen/dining room, barbecue, television (limited channels), video, DVD, CD player and private pool. Please refer to floor plans for specifc details on each villa.
• Location Biarritz - 90km, 60 mins. Bordeaux Airport - 120km, 90 mins.Golf/tennis - 0.5km, 5-10 mins. Shops/restaurants/beaches - 1.5km, 5-10 mins.
• Getting there 1.5hr international flight from London to Bordeaux, 1.5hrs drive from airport to resort.

• Weather Slightly cooler than the Mediterranean. Can be more varied and wetter due to the Atlantic influence at any time in the summer.

• Other NB: August is a very busy month. Some services/facilities in the resort are seasonal. All villas have pool alarms which, if switched on, will be activated when anything over 9kg falls into the pool.
