Honeymoon at QuilaleaMore »Quilalea is an entirely private and secluded island lodge far from civilisation off the coast of northern Mozambique. All nine villas have stunning ocean views, this is sheer escapism.
Quilalea is a remote beach lodge set within the spectacular Quirimbas Archipelago off the north coast of Mozambique. The nine private ‘island villas’ are set on a peninsula at the north end of the island and have king-size beds draped in romantic netting overlooking the sea. The restaurant has beautiful ocean views and serves delicious Mozambican cuisine. Quilalea offers superb scuba diving, big game fishing and a host of other activities including canoeing and sailing.
The more adventurous will head for the Saint Lazarus Bank, recognised as having some of the best unexplored diving in the world. Other activities include snorkelling, fly-fishing, sport fishing, canoeing, island exploration, sailing and bird watching are all highly rated and great fun. Excursions to Ibo Island and tours and cultural visits to the mainland (when not lazing in privacy or having a restorative massage in your villa) complete a visit to the Quirimbas Archipelago.
