Morukuru Lodge is an exclusive-use property comprising two houses, which between them can sleep up to six adults and four children.

Morukuru Lodge is made up of the lodge itself and the Owner’s House, each with two bedrooms, which are linked by a central living area. Guests can book one or both parts of the house and if you take only one area then the other will be left empty for the duration of your stay.

The lodge is fully staffed and guests have the use of a private 4WD vehicle and guide, making for a truly exclusive safari experience.

A wooden deck surrounds the villa and guests can recline on comfy sofas or on loungers by the pool, overlooking the river. Retreat for a siesta under the impressive Tamboti trees which provide welcome shade from the hot African sun.

In the evening, there is a range of dining options, including around a log fire in the lodge’s atmospheric boma.

Established in 1991, malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve is today one of South Africa’s top wildlife destinations offering the chance to see a variety of game including Africa’s ‘big five’.
