Le Touessrok is in a lovely position on the east coast of Mauritius. Spreading from the mainland onto a separate island joined by a short bridge, all of the 200 rooms have uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. There are three restaurants - the ‘culinary theatre’ of 398, Barlen’s beachside restaurant and Safran serving gourmet Indian cuisine, - two swimming pools, two bars and a health and beauty centre. Nearby Ile aux Cerfs has two restaurants for lunchtime meals only, two bars and a huge variety of water sports including Hobie Cats, laser sails, windsurfers, paddle boats, canoes, water skiing, snorkelling and parasailing, as well as a 18-hole golf course designed by Bernhard Langer.
