La Pleta

The rustic mountain retreat of La Pleta has a warm and welcoming atmosphere combined with the excellent service of a 5* hotel. The rugged exterior gives way to a cosy interior combining stone and wood with soft white and cream furnishings.

The hotel exudes luxury; the 67 rooms and suites have over sized beds piled high with cushions, heated flooring and slate bathrooms. The fine dining restaurant, Del Gel al Foc, serves a creative international cuisine with a Catalonian twist and influences from the Spanish head chef. The second restaurant is La Petita Borda - a healthier option serving a light menu to compliment their luxurious world class Spa. There is also a lively bar to enjoy après ski and the cigar bar, which offers cigars and brandies from around the world.

The L’Occitania Spa is very contemporary in design whilst reflecting the hotel’s surroundings by using natural products of slate, local stone and wood. There are a huge variety of treatments on offer from herbal massages to hot stone therapy using products incorporating flowers and fruits from the Aran Valley. Guests can enjoy plenty of facilities in the spa from Turkish Baths to a Vichy shower, and there is also a gym and swimming pool.

The ski lifts are a 10-minute walk away, or alternatively, take the private hotel mini bus which runs to and fro throughout the day. There is an in-house ski rental shop to kit you out with latest in ski equipment run by Jose Moga, once one of Spain’s top ski racers.
