Ksar Jallal is located near Erfoud and is a beautiful boutique retreat located close to the desert – right on the edge of the Fezna Oasis.

Ksar Jallal is owned by a French owner, Helene, who has spent years in Morocco before building her own desert Kasbah home. Set in pretty gardens with palm trees, olive and fruit trees, Ksar Jallal has a main Kasbah containing the main communal areas with two outlying Kasbahs with more suites. The accommodation is lovely with the suites being large and private – with delightful terraces offering spectacular views. You can certainly see an element of French flair in the décor which blends antiques with vibrant colours. Inside the main house there is a lounge and dining room, small TV Room and a children’s room with CD and internet access.

• Getting to Ksar Jallal Flight to Fez then 7 hour drive, or 8 hours from Marrakech
