Kandy House
Kandy House is a restored ancestral home set in the hills outside of Kandy. Spend the days sightseeing in and around Kandy or lazing in the tropical gardens by the infinity pool.
An exceptional example of an ancestral home, dating back 200 years, The Kandy House is set in glorious jungle gardens 15 minutes outside of the town of Kandy, the cultural capital of the island. The restoration has been undertaken with great care and the result mixes colonial charm and elegance with modern design touches. With only nine rooms the house retains an atmosphere of a private home and makes for the perfect retreat after a day out and about in the hill country and town.
Dining takes place outside on a sheltered verandah and the menu is different every day, using the freshest ingredients to be found in the local markets.
In the gardens you will find a yoga pavilion and an infinity pool with a view to die for.
