Haggerstone Island
Great Barrier Reef, Australia
A remote Robinson Crusoe style lodge in the far north of Australia. Ideal for families or couples who want to get away from it all in an unspoilt island paradise.
Situated 600km north of Cairns, Haggerstone Island is incredibly remote, unspoilt and private and lies on the Great Barrier Reef. The largest protected marine park in the world stretches from its beach, with fantastic snorkelling and swimming. The three private guesthouses are beautifully made, with uninterrupted views of the turquoise lagoon and uninhabited islands. The food is the freshest there is with maybe fruit for breakfast, oysters for lunch and lobster barbequed for dinner.
