Chia Laguna

Chia Laguna is a 4* resort style hotel, part of the Meridien group and situated on the southern tip of Sardinia. It is down-to-earth and very family orientated. The area surrounding the hotel is covered in pine forest and typical Sardinian countryside.

Sardinia is well known for its beautiful coastline and the beaches around the hotel. Chia Laguna’s beach is about 700m from the hotel and is accessed by a small train that takes about 5 minutes – children in particular love the journey.

Within the main part of the hotel there are spacious deluxe and superior rooms which have been stylishly refurbished. Both have balconies and distant sea views. Alternatively there are cottage rooms located within the gardens which are small, simple and traditional. The garden cottage rooms have a small open garden and very small patio area. The holidays are sold on a half board basis enabling you to eat in any of the restaurants available.

At the children’s club there is a shallow pool and next to this a fantastic grassy play area. Inside there are two airconditioned spaces, one is a playroom and the other a nursery for creative play out of the sun. Any part of the club can be used by private nannies and their children so they get to fully interact and play with others. New for 2008 at Chia Laguna our activity specialist will be arranging evening entertainment from 7pm to 10pm two nights per week for 9-13 year olds.
