Blue Gum is a small country estate with just 10 rooms and two family rooms. Situated in an unspoilt valley near the small town of Stanford, just beyond Hermanus.

With its own vineyards, pastures, river frontage and private mountain reserve, Blue Gum Country Estate is an ideal base to explore the Overberg area. Guests can relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of this owner-run estate or take advantage of the numerous activities and excursions on offer including mountain biking, nature walks, historic towns, antique shops, boat cruises, fly-fishing, magnificent beaches and some of the best whale watching in the world.

Accommodation consists of five mountain facing rooms and five manor house rooms, all with private verandas, and two family rooms. Meals are indulgent affairs with generous breakfasts and gourmet dinners being served overlooking private vineyards. Guests are encouraged to explore the imaginative cellar of great South African wines.
