Antarctica XXI Fly Cruise

South Shetland and Falkland Islands, Antarctica

The first fly-cruise in the Antarctic, discovering the great mysteries that awaited “Scott of the Antarctic” and his team.

Explorers have been allured to the Antarctic for centuries. Discover the fascinating wildlife and landscapes it has to offer. The Fly and Cruise expedition offers a revolutionary new concept in Antarctica travel and avoids the 2 day rough Drake Passage sea crossing. The Antarctica XXI is the world’s first fly-cruise of the Antarctic and starts in Punta Arenas, Chile. You will fly 3.5hrs to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands, here you shall be greeted by your crew and taken to the ship in Zodiacs from the beach on Fildes Bay.

In Antarctica you will stay onboard the Grigoriy Mikheev, a small, specially designed expedition vessel with an ice-strengthened hull and state-of-the-art equipment for navigating the southern oceans. Zodiac excursions are led by expert bilingual guides and offer guests the freedom to explore some of the last truly unspoilt regions of the world. Observe fascinating wildlife including Wondering Albatrosses, Elephant Seals and Gentoo Penguins. The mysterious White Continent has unparalleled scenery with multi-coloured ice caps, glaciers and towering snow-capped mountains. The boat’s outside cabins offer guests an awe-inspiring view every morning. The ship is also fitted with her own restaurant, lounge, bar and library where guests can exchange their tales of discovery from the day.
