Iwokrama, Guyana

Iwokrama is the International Centre for Rainforest Conservation and Development (IIC). The Prince of Wales has been patron of this unique project since it was founded in 1996. It is a great place to visit and get inspired by cutting-edge rainforest eco-tourism.




Half term at Riviera Maya, Mexico

I have just returned from a family holiday to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. I wanted to experience February half term away with the family somewhere and we all absolutely loved it. We took the new British Airways flight to Cancun, which took 10 hours and was generally a very painless affair, especially when one is used to having to connect onto a number of different flights.


Surfing Costa Rica

My highlight though was having a pod of 4 dolphins swim by, pointed out by a 12 year-old local kid called Oscar, who said “people pay to go on trips to see them and sometimes don't see any, if you're a surfer you can see them for free”. Incredible!
