About me
I’ve been in the travel industry for 6 years and am excited to have recently joined Scott Dunn as an ocean and island specialist, focusing on Mauritius, Seychelles and the Caribbean. Although I’ve travelled to a large number of different places worldwide, recently learning to swim (albeit rather late in life!) has made me appreciate the wonders of snorkelling and my holidays over the last five years have included places where marine life is abundant.
Favourite places I’ve been
Grenada – spices, friendly, markets, waterfalls, rum
St Lucia – dramatic, romantic, rainforest, lush, verdant
Antigua – beaches, historic, views, colourful, maritime
Travel nuggets
01. Having forgotten to pack something on quite a few occasions in the past, I’ve now devised a comprehensive packing list covering all eventualities – and never go anywhere without referring to it!
02. Whilst on a Catamaran trip in St. Lucia, there was a short, sharp rainstorm and a double rainbow appeared over the Pitons – what a stunning sight!
03. Not long after getting to grips with snorkelling, I was brave enough to venture out by myself in Antigua and came face to face with my first large Barracuda – a great sight but I don’t know which of us was the most apprehensive!
