About me
Spending the third year of my university degree in Egypt made me fall head over heels in love with the Arab world, but particularly with Egypt. Whilst there I got the chance to travel to Jordan, Syria and Turkey, as well as visiting all corners of Egypt itself – it is such a diverse country but my favourite part is the Western Desert, particularly Siwa! It is so peaceful, but there are loads of adventures to have, and just breathtakingly beautiful.
I currently specialise in Jordan and the Maldives, having been lucky enough to visit both through work. I love the diversity of Jordan and the fact that you can cover the whole country – Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea – in just a week (although it’s definitely better to take longer!). The Maldives is completely different to any destination I’ve been to before – pure indulgence and luxury! Perfect beaches, beautiful turquoise water and amazing food!

Travel nuggets
01. Start your day’s sightseeing at Petra as early as possible, around 7am. You’ll miss the worst of the crowds and the morning sunlight is incredible.
01. Flying over the Maldives by seaplane gives some amazing views of the tiny islands.
01. Escape the crowds in Egypt by camping in the Western Desert on your way to Siwa Oasis.
My hot picks
Six Senses Laamu, Maldives – Barefoot luxury with a more hip vibe than a lot of the other Maldives properties. My favourite part is the ice cream shop and chocolate room!
Evason Ma’in, Jordan – Located close to the Dead Sea, it has a more boutique feel than the bigger resorts right on the beach. The Six Senses spa with hot springs is also really unique.
Feynan Eco Lodge, Jordan – Located in the Dana Nature Reserve, this property has a really laidback feel to it, and is magical from sunset when lit up by candlelight.
