About me

I’ve always loved travelling and other cultures, languages and landscapes which prompted a 6 month round-the-world trip when I was 18, a second trip round South America a couple of years later and a degree in French and English.

Since then I’ve spent as much time as possible abroad, including two winter seasons in the Alps, two summers in Provence and a third summer in Greece as well as multiple holidays whenever I get the chance! My most recent trip has been an exploration of some of North America’s best ski resorts including Aspen, Whistler, Vail and Beaver Creek.

Where I’ve been

Greece – sunshine, feta, clear turquoise seas, watersports
France – sun, snow, mountains, lots of cheese and wine…!
Italy – Ski, lakes, architecture, pizza and limoncello
India – temples, markets, delicious street food, organised chaos!
Thailand – beautiful beaches, pad thai, islands, snorkelling
Australia – Whitsundays, Sydney, fun, diving, rainforest
New Zealand – active, skydiving, glaciers, wide open spaces
Fiji – islands, sunshine, cocktails, beaches and waterfalls
Bolivia – colourful women in bowler hats, pink dolphins, salt flats
Argentina – Iguazu falls, steak and red wine, incredible landscapes
Spain – long lunches of tapas washed down with cava, gothic architecture and beautiful artwork
North America – fresh champagne powder and corduroy pistes

Travel nuggets

Argentina – Always order side dishes with your steak (otherwise you just get a hunk of meat) and have an ice-cream at any hour of the day and night!

India – Jaisalmer looks like a long way but is worth the journey

Car/scooter/boat hire is a great way of escaping crowds and seeing things that others miss out on.

Hot picks

Kristiania, Lech – A lovely little hotel in fabulous Lech with incredibly warm and welcoming staff to take care of your every need

Chalet Nepenthe, Val d’Isere – A chalet with a real family feel – home from home in the French Alps!

Amirandes, Crete – Serious luxury in a corner of Crete, spoil yourself with the wonderful spa, delicious food and beautiful views

Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek – The hotel is worth a visit for its restaurant alone – Spago is one of Wolfgang Puck’s creations and the pasta is to die for!

What my guests have said

"We all had an incredible holiday, our best family holiday ever and we all feel so relaxed, even though we were busy skiing all day."
