Michelle Smith

Michelle AldertonI didn't start skiing until I was in my early 20s when I decided to do my first ski season (for Scott Dunn) luckily I loved being in the snow and 6 months in the Alps turned out to be a great way to learn. I definitely got the ski bug and went on to do another ski season the next winter in Meribel, I have a massive soft spot for the 3 valleys as they are where I discovered skiing and met my husband! Since joining Scott Dunn in the UK I have been lucky enough to visit all our chalets in Courchevel, Val d'Isère, Zermatt and St Anton.

Bridget Dolan

My first experience of skiing was a weekend in Scotland where, despite not much snow and unbelievably cold winds, I really got the bug. I was then lucky enough to go on several family holidays to France and finally decided to spend time perfecting my French and my snowboarding simultaneously doing two winter seasons working in the Three Valleys. Since then I’ve gone back as often as time and money allow! I particularly love our chalets in Val d’Isère, they offer everything that I could want from an Alpine chalet, and usually more…

I'm not a fair weather skier... I'll ski/board in any conditions! Having worked 10 seasons in Europe and skied in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the States, I've been lucky enough to experience heli-skiing in Italy and skiing down the ‘Vallée Blanche’ near Chamonix, at midnight, under the light of a full moon - equipped with harness and ropes! Before joining Scott Dunn, I ran my own chalet company in Morzine for 5 years. I loved the interaction with my guests and thrived on making their holiday the best!

I hit the slopes at a young age and have been lucky enough to ski in a number of European resorts over the years, including Klosters, Flaine, Verbier, Chamonix and Obergurgl. I have visited the Scott Dunn chalets and hotels in both Courchevel and, most recently, Val d’Isere. Our Scott Dunn chalets really are very special; some even come with their very own private indoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room and hot tub, in which you can relax before your Laurent Perrier champagne reception, mouth-watering canapés and delicious dinner cooked by your private chef.

Charlotte Austin

Charlotte AustinI started skiing from a young age so the logical step when I finished school was to work in the French Alps. I enjoyed my winter season in Courchevel, and also lived in Vienna for a couple of years, so managed to sample a lot of smaller resorts in Austria as well as Lech, Obergurgl and Schladming but I had to come back to reality at some point. Most recently I've visited St Anton and Lech in the Arlberg region in Austria to see Scott Dunn's wonderful chalets and our selection of hotels. The pool and cinema room in Chalet Artemis are just to die for. And where better to drink a glass of cold Laurent-Perrier champagne than in one of our chalet's outdoor hot-tub.

At a young age I started skiing with school trips mostly to France, as a family we then went to Meribel in the 3 valleys for many years, this prompted me to then do a much enjoyed ski season in Meribel. In my Uni years I dabbled with the University dry slope race team, but on snow my love of ski has led me to skiing to Patagonia in Argentina, New Zealand, and all over Europe including Val d'Isere, Courchevel 1850, Les Arcs, Isola 2000, St Anton, Bad Gastein, Garmisch Partenkirchen, Zermatt and a few other resorts!

Hamish Gordon Lennox

Hamish Gordon-LennoxHaving skied from an early age I was always finding any excuse to fly out and ski, so after completing three ski seasons it was clear I had found my true passion and anything else was not really going to live up to it. I did my seasons in Canada and Switzerland which gave me a great variety of skiing knowledge to bring to the office. I spend any free time I can get over the winter in St Anton, which has become my favourite resort, however Zermatt is close on its heels. While working for Scott Dunn I have been lucky enough to visit all our chalets and hotels in our core resorts of St Anton, Val d'Isére, Zermatt and Courchevel.

I have been lucky enough to visit a number of ski resorts in Europe, Canada and North America. Having done a season in Val d'Isere I might be slightly biased, but the Espace Killy ski area really is something else. After recently visiting Zermatt to sample the Scott Dunn service firsthand it is easy to see why it's so hard to resist, you really can't turn back! Whether you are staying in one of our luxury chalets with your own outdoor hot tub or enjoying the facilities of one of the hotels being a guest of Scott Dunn will be an unforgettable experience.

My passion for skiing started when I went on my first school ski trip when I was 13. We went to Saas-Fee in Switzerland, and I came back well and truly bitten by the bug! After that first trip I went every year, visiting Tignes, Cesana, and Cervinia. When my sister moved to Vancouver, I took the opportunity to head over to Whistler, a resort I’ve been back to on a number of occasions, but my most memorable trip was skiing fresh “Champagne” powder in Silver Star, British Columbia.

I wasn't introduced to skiing until my late teens - the fact that I wasn't attached to skis at the age of three and pushed down the mountain still grieves me to this day. I had the pleasure of spending 5 months in Val d'Isère, France working in the famous Eagle's Nest. Skiing in Val d'Isère opened my eyes to the wonders of a ski resort from the local bars and restaurants to the famous après spots such as the La Folie Douce. The skiing is vast and varied and the snow and piste is some of the best I've ever skied. Since joining Scott Dunn I have also been lucky enough to experience the best of Swiss skiing in Zermatt!
