Top quality musicians continue to head to South Africa

There has never been a better time to embark on a luxury holiday in South Africa than 2012, as a number of top quality music concerts are scheduled to take place in the coming year.

Cape Town is set to be the epicentre for the majority of the performances, as the city continues to build on its reputation as a cultural hotspot.

At the start of May, acclaimed singer Michael Bublé will bring his Crazy Love tour to the African country and he is expected to take to the stage for three consecutive nights at Cape Town's Grand Arena.

Before this, the metropolis will host arguably the most highly anticipated event of the year - the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

Known as Africa's Greatest Gathering, more than 40 local and global jazz acts will perform to over 33,000 people across five different stages at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

It is likely to be a busy year for Cape Town's tourism industry after travel leaders recently declared their happiness at new figures that showed 4.21 million people visited the city last year.
