See wildlife in the Linyati Game Reserve

Few places can compete with the Linyati Game Reserve when it comes to viewing wild animals in their natural habitat.

People planning to take a luxury holiday in Botswana will be amazed by the sheer number of creatures that inhabit the region.

The dry winter months are arguably the best time to visit, as thousands of zebra frequent the reserve during this period, before heading to the Savuti in search of better grazing conditions.

Elephants also roam the Linyati Game Reserve in huge numbers during the winter season, as it is full of rivers and watering holes.

As you would expect in the heart of Africa, many predators, ranging from big and fearsome leopards and lions to smaller bat-eared foxes patrol the area looking for prey.

Aside from the fantastic safari opportunities, tourism chiefs believe the feeling of complete isolation is also a major selling point of this part of Botswana, as it allows people to get away from the stress of their hectic everyday lives and be at one with nature.
