Now is the perfect time to go skiing, insurer says

Bosses at a travel insurance firm have suggested that now is the perfect time to embark on a luxury ski trip to Val d'Isère.

Leaders at Asda Travel Insurance believe the French resort is one of the most "delightful and captivating" winter sports resorts in Europe.

Indeed, a representative of the organisation stated that Val d'Isère is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world thanks to its large number of top quality slopes and huge range of other attractions.

"As well as perfect powdery snow at this time of year, the resort also features guided winter walks, cinemas, indoor leisure facilities and a plethora of additional activities to keep residents entertained," the spokesperson commented.

Like many of its European neighbours, Val d'Isère has benefited from better than expected snowfall in recent weeks.

Despite experiencing an unseasonably mild November, the French resort saw more than 100cm of snow fall in just one week shortly before Christmas, the Guardian reported.
