Jordan's reputation for arts and culture continues to grow

Travellers taking a luxury holiday in Jordan will find a culturally-rich country that has a growing reputation for producing and exhibiting fine works of art.

According to tourism leaders, there are a number of top-quality art galleries that must be explored by visitors to Amman.

"The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, for example, boasts a fine collection of paintings, sculptures and ceramics by contemporary Jordanian and Arab artists," a representative stated.

Many of the paintings that are exhibited have been donated by the growing number of talented female artists that are emerging from the Middle Eastern nation.

As well as art galleries, Jordan is also home to the Royal Cultural Centre, which is a modern complex that consists of cinemas, theatres and exhibition halls.

Virtuoso Life magazine recently outlined Jordan as one of the top luxury holiday destinations, describing it as "a land of great beauty and even greater history".
