Of course, Johannesburg is an ideal base for people who are looking to go on safari trips, as the famous Kruger National Park and Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens are within easy reach of the city.

Around 3.7 million tourists arrived in South Africa in December alone and a large percentage of this number flew into Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport.
